Just getting started!  I've decided to join in with the Frosted Pumpkin's "monthly sampler club".  They have created a Woodland Sampler for 2013, and if you subscribe, each month you get a pattern to fill in one of the twelve squares of the sampler.

This is the first cross stitch project that I'm doing - I have been concentrating on doing "freehand" embroidery up until now, so this should be interesting, and I hope fun.  I'm looking for a little diversion - the other sampler project that I've been working on for the last few months requires a lot of concentration - learning new stitches, determining placements, colour selections etc.  So hopefully this will be easier because I'll be following someone else's instructions!
